First time climbing outdoors. My friend Brenden Eng took me to do 4 Pitches on the Catharsis Slab down in Keene Valley. I felt really safe and really excited for my first climb. There were other people on the slab that afternoon but we quickly caught up with them. The female climber asked me "are you scared?" and "are you nervous", when I told her it was my first time out. I didnt know how to answer her,  her question didn't make sense to me. NO I was not scared and no I was not nervous I was so happy to be alive and couldn't wait to climb higher as i watched her get smaller and smaller behind me
